The Greater Pushaw Lake Association (GPLA) is a membership organization that includes both year-round and seasonal residents who live in more than 900 camps and homes along the shores of Pushaw Lake in south-central Penobscot County, Maine. GPLA's mission is to preserve and improve the quality of Pushaw Lake and Little Pushaw Pond. Our membership is drawn from thirteen distinct lakeside neighborhoods, each of which has its own camp owners, lake, and/or road association. The shoreline is in four municipalities: Glenburn, Hudson, Old Town, and Orono. The larger lake watershed includes eight municipalities and an estimated 10,000 people.
